McKinney Chamber Distributes COVID-19 Rapid Test Kits

In an effort to help support businesses in the McKinney area and stem the tide of COVID-19, the McKinney Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with the Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM) to distribute COVID-19 nasal swab rapid test kits.

The BinexNow test is a minimally-invasive nasal swab test that provides results within 15 minutes. Each box - or kit - has 40 tests and one bottle of solution. These kits are available to qualifying businesses in the McKinney area while supplies last.

To be considered to receive a test kit(s), please fill out the form linked below. If your business qualifies, we will notify you with further instructions, including a requirement for one person within the organization to complete an online training (must be done in order to receive a kit) and a commitment to reporting to TDEM as test are administered.

Once the form is filled out, the McKinney Chamber will qualify the business and, if notified, one employee from the organization must take an online training course and pass a test, certifying them as a test administrator for employees within their organization. This certificate must be provided to the McKinney Chamber prior to allowing the pick up of the kits.
