Thinking of Running for Public Office?

The McKinney Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the chambers in Collin County to host a class on how to run for office. We believe it's important for leaders in the business community to transfer their skill set to serve in public office and help keep our communities vibrant and economically strong. 

The Collin County Candidate School is a one day course designed to help provide the basic information on running a campaign. Expert speakers will talk about everything from beginning the commitment to public service to fundraising, filing to run, developing a strategy and transitioning from campaigning to governing. 

As our county continues to grow and prosper, the chambers in Collin County believe it's important to give the tools to candidates who are willing to step up and lead our communities - from city, schools, county and state offices all have an impact on the health of our community.
