About MYP

McKinney Young Professionals (MYP) was established with the aim of fostering connections among young professionals, supporting their career advancement, and empowering them to contribute positively to their community. Through MYP, members can engage in a variety of events designed to facilitate networking with fellow professionals, community leaders, and business figures.

These events not only offer opportunities for socializing but also provide platforms for personal and professional growth. Additionally, MYP offers professional development sessions featuring dynamic speakers and practical insights tailored to enhance members’ careers. MYP plays a vital role in keeping McKinney’s as a vibrant and desirable place to live, work, and thrive.

Garrett Moore

I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead the 2025 MYP Committee this year. I’m excited to build on the strong foundation laid by previous committees and continue to make MYP the thriving organization it is today.

Our goals for 2025 are to build it bigger and better. We want to continue to foster a welcoming environment where young professionals can connect, grow, and make lasting friendships. We’re also deeply committed to serving our community and making a positive impact.
Cheers to another fantastic year ahead, filled with growth, opportunities, and positive change.”
